I added a track called "Not In Vain", dedicated to all of those who lost someone in the military.

It is actually a slow pop/rock song.
But I did'nt see either a mellow, soft, or slow sub genre under the pop or rock listing. And I think it is not light enough to call easy listening.
So I guess General Pop will do.

There is a track that I put up that I recorded in 2000 called "Enchanted Place".
It is a taped recording and represents another era when I was going to do a band project that never got off the ground.
It also represents an innocent time to where recording was all anew and the people involved have moved away or are no longer among us. The band was to be a psychedelic/alternative outfit called 1 2 86.
The song was about putting that baby down and giving up completly on the dream.
But of course, I could'nt do that.
I hope you enjoy reminincing with me.

Hello!

January 28th, 2006 @ 12:49AM

Added an acoustic guitar and drum track called Walls.

It's a digital remake of the first recording that I did.
Pretty sparse sounding, but I dubbed in my own backup vocals.

I was looking for a Bob Dylan "Knocking On Heavens Door" kind of flavor.

My recordings have been a lot more electric since.

Give me feedback on this track, or any for that matter, please.

Well, I have 2 new recordings up.

I have now at least a less of a piece of crap sound card.

Im going to get some better equipment pretty soon.
I'm also thinking of dabbling more in an experimental, progressive type of music when I get the equipment.
I would do that more for a concept piece, but not to totally switch over to that format.
I don't know what I want to sound like.
All I know is it is fun experimenting with different genres.

I play all the rythmns and music by hand.
I know prgrammed software would be cheaper.
But I like playing as if I were still in a garage.
As clumbsy as I sound.
I'm practicing my chops more now.

I hope you like the new editions I put up.

Cheers!

Matt
